Sportklinik Hellersen is one of Germany's leading specialist clinics for orthopaedics, trauma surgery and sports medicine. Its medical expertise includes the treatment of orthopaedic injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the implantation of artificial joints (endoprostheses) and sports medicine. The Spine Center, consisting of interdisciplinary teams of conservative orthopaedics, neurosurgery and special spinal surgery, perfectly complements the clinic's range of services in conjunction with special pain medicine and plastic and aesthetic surgery.
Whether team doctors or the technical performance support of soccer and Bundesliga referees - our doctors are at home in sport. Founded in 1946, this sports expertise goes hand in hand with decades of experience and in-depth specialization. We are always on the ball when it comes to further development and use state-of-the-art therapy methods. Non-athletes also benefit from this expertise, as we pay just as much attention to them as we do to our amateur and elite athletes.
Every year, our team of highly specialized doctors treats around 8,000 inpatients and 40,000 outpatients - including around 500 cruciate ligament and 1,000 shoulder operations as well as 800 foot surgery procedures. Around 2,000 patients with back pain and 1,400 pain patients come to us. The endoprosthetics department performs 850 knee and hip joint operations every year.
Our primary goal is to restore, maintain and promote the health of our patients. We can only achieve this by working hand in hand. Under the motto "We together - from person to person", respect and appreciation characterize the daily cooperation in #Team Hellersen. This sense of community encourages each and every one of the more than 400 employees to help shape the clinic in a continuous improvement process and to develop personally. We face challenges together and shape today for tomorrow. Join us in shaping the future of #Team Hellersen.
The foundation for good cooperation and effective collaboration is respect. We treat each other with respect and fairness, work together on a basis of trust and show our appreciation for each other. Each of us acts as a role model in our daily interactions and acts accordingly - based on the fundamental values of our mission statement.
Our values make this clear: We rely on teamwork, dare to try new things and embrace diversity. We also aim to take responsibility for our patients and colleagues and always take their concerns seriously. Mistakes are allowed and are not concealed, but addressed. Only in this way is improvement and constant progress possible.
Dare to try new things, take responsibility, make decisions in the here and now. Only those who constantly develop themselves remain good at what they do. That is why we are courageous, look to the future with determination and self-confidence and dare to take on new challenges - albeit with the necessary respect. We are building our future together. To do this, we take responsibility and make decisions.
