Lüdenscheid/Abu Dhabi, January 16, 2025 - In a significant international partnership, Sportklinik Hellersen and its local branch took over the management and operation of the orthopaedic surgery department of Emirates International Hospital in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, on January 6, 2025. This cooperation will implement innovative concepts for patient care and the exchange of Specialist Physicians and promote the further internationalization of the sports clinic.

This cooperation enables us to develop innovative treatment strategies and promote high-quality care on a global level. This includes sports medicine, endoprosthetics, spinal surgery, traumatology and pain medicine."
As part of the cooperation, a joint training strategy is also being developed to counteract the shortage of specialists. In future, patients from the United Arab Emirates will be able to receive treatment in Germany more easily. In addition, care for international patients will be expanded through telemedical support and innovative new care concepts for the benefit of patients.
