Optimal training preparation for running and cycling events

Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 6:00 p.m.

Andreas Kramer, sports scientist in the sports medicine department of the Sportklinik Hellersen and himself a cyclist, gives tips to ambitious participants.

The peak period for running and cycling events is just around the corner. The P-Weg Marathon in Plettenberg, the Bike Festival in Willingen, the Rothaarsteig Marathon in Schmallenberg or the company run in Lüdenscheid are just a few examples of the diverse range of events in the region. The goals of the participants are quite different. Whether it is to achieve a personal best time at a sporting event, to strive for a place on the podium or simply to enjoy sport.

Among other things, he reports on how to use training basics, avoid mistakes in preparation and explains how to further optimize current training.

After his presentation, Andreas Kramer will take enough time to answer your questions.
